Candidates must bring excellent proficiency in echocardiography, with the ability to perform high-quality cardiac ultrasound examinations. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and explain findings clearly to patients. The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a busy clinical setting is crucial.
Preferred skills include familiarity with advanced echocardiographic technology such as 3D imaging, stress echocardiography, and experience with echocardiographic software. Additional experience in cardiac catheterization labs or other cardiovascular diagnostic procedures would be advantageous.
Applicants should possess a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in echocardiography, particularly in cardiology services. A graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, registered or eligible for registry examination (RDCS, CCIC), is required. Current AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
Other requirements include a valid echocardiography certification, current cardiology certificate, and the ability to work evening shifts from 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Flexibility to accommodate varied schedules over 13-week assignments is necessary. Travel reimbursement, licensure, and certification expenses are covered when applicable.
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $52.93.
