Required Skills:
Successful completion of a Sonography Training Program
Minimum 1 year of clinical sonography experience preferred
ARDMS (Registered Medical Sonographer), ARRT-S, ARC-BLS, or BLS-I certifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with physicians, patients, and staff
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Strong customer service orientation
Attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to department needs
Dependability and accountability
Nice to Have Skills:
Knowledge of anatomy and pathology
Experience with patient positioning and exposure factors
Familiarity with Epic imaging system
Ability to educate and provide clear directions to patients and team members
Preferred Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Trade School Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
At least one year of clinical sonography experience or successful completion of an accredited training program
Other Requirements:
Shift availability: Friday through Sunday, 7 PM – 7:30 AM
RTO requests limited to three days
Ability to perform a wide range of technical procedures with independent judgment
Compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards
Certifications must be current or willing to obtain prior to employment
Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements apply as appropriate
This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate of $46.90, complemented by competitive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, and various reimbursements.
