Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on experience in a clinical social work role, specifically within an oncology or hospital setting
Valid LCSW licensure in Georgia
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Proven ability to assess and address psychosocial needs of oncology patients
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with psycho-oncology
Prior experience working in a hospital or medical environment
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
At least 2 years of oncology-specific clinical social work experience
Hospital-based experience is highly recommended
Other Requirements:
No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Willingness to travel for training or additional responsibilities when applicable
Valid GA LCSW license and recent oncology experience are mandatory
