Pay Rate: $44.53/hour

What You’ll Do
Perform routine and specialized compatibility testing in blood bank procedures
Process specimens including ABO/Rh, antibody screens, and identification
Conduct antibody typing using tube methods and electronic crossmatching
Prepare blood components for transfusion based on compatibility results
Support transfusion needs for both pediatric and adult patients
Work independently during night shift in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards
What You Need
Required:
Active ASCP-MLS or ASCP-BB certification
Blood bank experience, especially in large facility settings
Ability to work independently on night shift
Strong technical skills in specimen processing, antibody testing, and crossmatching
Preferred:
Blood bank experience in high-volume laboratories
Blood bank leadership or troubleshooting skills

This position is located at a prominent hospital, supporting a busy blood bank laboratory that handles routine and complex compatibility testing. The unit serves diverse patient populations and requires dedicated, skilled laboratory professionals to ensure safe and accurate transfusions.
