SICU Registered Nurse – Day Shift in New Orleans, LA

  • Licensure/Certs: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification required
  • Experience: High-acuity ICU experience preferred, with skills in post-op cardiac, transplant recovery, CVICU, SICU, and RRT

Pay & Benefits
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60 per hour
  • Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do
  • Provide specialized care for high-acuity ICU patients, including post-op CABG, valve replacements, and transplant recoveries
  • Monitor and manage complex clinical conditions, including PA catheters, balloon pumps, IABP, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members
  • Respond to emergency situations with critical care expertise and professionalism

What You Need
  • Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility for licensure
  • ACLS, BLS certifications, NIH certification required
  • Minimum of high-acuity ICU experience; preferred familiarity with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and transplant patients
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Same-day and during emergency events, ability to stay and assist as needed
