SICU Registered Nurse – Day Shift in New Orleans, LA

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (06:45 – 19:15)
Hours/week: 36 hours
Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
Licensure/Certs: Active RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIH Certification required
Experience: High-acuity ICU experience preferred, with skills in post-op cardiac, transplant recovery, CVICU, SICU, and RRT
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $53.60 per hour
Pay package discussed upon application

What You’ll Do
Provide specialized care for high-acuity ICU patients, including post-op CABG, valve replacements, and transplant recoveries
Monitor and manage complex clinical conditions, including PA catheters, balloon pumps, IABP, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with team members
Respond to emergency situations with critical care expertise and professionalism
What You Need
Valid Louisiana RN license or eligibility for licensure
Minimum of high-acuity ICU experience; preferred familiarity with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and transplant patients
Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Same-day and during emergency events, ability to stay and assist as needed
