Join Our Team as a SICU Registered Nurse – Make a Critical Impact in High-Acuity Care!
Are you a dedicated and experienced nurse ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic surgical intensive care environment? As a SICU Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient recovery for some of the most critically ill patients, providing expert care in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting. Required Skills:
Proven experience in surgical ICU settings with ability to manage high-acuity patients
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
Experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps preferred
Ability to care for post-op CABG, valve surgeries, aortic dissection, IABP, and other complex cases
Skilled in managing transplant recoveries (liver, heart, lungs, kidney, pancreas)
Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
Prior float experience to other ICUs and Step-Down Units
Additional familiarity with emergency team protocols
Strong understanding of post-op transplant patient management
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience, with specific experience in CVICU and transplant units highly preferred
Other Requirements:
Willingness to accept assignment to emergency and relief teams when necessary
Ability to report to work on shift (Day 3x12-Hour shifts 06:45 - 19:15)
Flexibility to float across ICUs and step-down units as needed
Valid nursing license and current certifications
This full-time position offers an hourly pay rate of $53.60, with competitive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave according to applicable laws, licensure and certification reimbursements, and robust referral bonus programs.
