SICU Registered Nurse

Required Skills:
Valid and current RN license.
Proven experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), with skills in general post-op care for surgical recovery patients.
Epic electronic medical record experience.
Strong knowledge of ICU patient management, including care for transplant recovery (liver, heart, lungs, kidney, pancreas).
Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 18:45 - 07:15).
Proficiency in caring for post-op CABG, valve repairs, aortic dissection, IABP, PA catheters, and balloon pumps is preferred.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with PA (pulmonary artery) catheters and balloon pumps.
Prior exposure to CVICU settings and post-transplant patients.
Flexibility to function as part of an emergency team during high-demand situations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher.
Minimum of 2 years’ ICU experience, particularly in a cardiac, transplant, or high-acuity setting.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to be part of an emergency response team, including potential stay at the facility during emergency events.
Valid licensure and certifications must be maintained.
Ability to travel or be reimbursed for licensure, certification, and travel expenses when applicable.
