SICU Registered Nurse

Required Skills:
Proven experience in surgical intensive care units, including post-op care for CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissections, transplant recoveries, and general surgical recovery.
Skilled in managing patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIH certification preferred.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with transplant patients (liver, heart, lung, kidney, pancreas).
Prior involvement with emergency response teams or relief assignments in ICU settings.
Additional certifications related to advanced cardiovascular or critical care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active RN licensure in relevant state.
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, preferably in a high-acuity surgical or transplant ICU.
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to float to other ICU and step-down units as needed.
Ability to handle emergency scenarios that may require extended shifts or staying at the facility during critical events.
Availability to work day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts from 06:45 to 19:15.
