Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapy - RRT and Make a Difference in Critical Care Settings!
Are you a dedicated Respiratory Therapist seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We are looking for passionate professionals to provide exceptional respiratory care across multiple high-acuity units, including NICU, PICU, ICU, ER, and Stepdown. This role offers the chance to work in diverse environments, support high-risk deliveries, and contribute to patient recovery in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy
Proficiency in attending high-risk deliveries and supporting NICU/PICU patients
Expertise in airway management, ventilator management, ABG puncture and analysis
Hands-on experience with non-invasive ventilation and inhaled medications including nitric oxide
Ability to intubate neonates if necessary
Comfort with using advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, and Oscillator
Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
Valid LA State Licensure and active BLS, NRP certifications
NBRC National Accreditation and CRT or RRT credential (RRT highly preferred)
Nice to Have Skills:
ACLS and PALS certifications
Experience with ECMO coordination
Multilingual abilities
Prior travel therapy experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or allied health field
At least 2 years of critical care or neonatal/pediatric experience in a similar setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to float between four campuses within a 20-25 minute driving distance
Valid driver's license
Flexibility for 12-hour night shifts (12H Nights) on a 36/48 hour rotation schedule
Capable of working every other weekend and rotating holidays
Successful completion of a 2-day orientation covering all facilities
Participation in a comprehensive benefits package including competitive pay ($56.95/hour), weekly direct deposit, medical benefits, referral bonuses, and paid sick time
Travel or additional reimbursements furnished when applicable
