What You Bring:
Minimum of 2+ years of respiratory therapy experience
Proficiency in high-risk delivery support and NICU/PICU care
Strong skills in airway and ventilator management, ABG analysis, and neonatal intubation
Ability to manage complex ventilator equipment such as Servo U, Trilogy, V60, EV300, and NICU oscillators
Certification in BLS, NRP required; ACLS and PALS preferred
Valid Louisiana State Licensure and NBRC credential (RRT or CRT)
Valid driver’s license with flexibility to float across four campuses
Nice to Have:
Additional certifications and advanced airway skills
Experience with ECMO support (not required)
Familiarity with Meditech Expanse charting system
Preferred Education & Experience:
Active Louisiana State Respiratory Therapist licensure
2+ years of clinical experience in acute care settings, including high-risk deliveries and neonatal intensive care units
Additional Requirements:
Ability to work 36-48 hour shifts on a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Willingness to float across all four campuses within 20-25 minutes drive
Participation in orientation and training on all equipment and protocols
Must accept shifts that include call duty (ground or air transport as needed)
