Job Title: Respiratory Sales Representative
Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Position Overview:
VieMed is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This field-based role involves extensive local travel (80%+) within the Baton Rouge territory. The ideal candidate will possess established relationships with healthcare providers specializing in respiratory care and a demonstrated ability to drive growth through consultative sales in a hospital and home healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster and expand relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, Critical Care Physicians, and other referral sources to generate patient referrals.
  • Promote VieMed’s advanced home ventilation and disease management programs via professional presentations, educational sessions, and clinical collaborations.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with territory growth objectives, actively identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Respiratory Therapists and operational personnel, to ensure seamless patient transitions from hospital to home care settings.
  • Accurately document account activities, referral sources, and sales metrics to track progress and optimize outreach strategies.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism, persistence, and motivation in a fast-paced healthcare sales environment.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Established relationships with Pulmonologists, Hospitalists, Case Managers, or Respiratory Care departments.
  • Hands-on experience with Mechanical Ventilation, Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV), or other respiratory therapies.
  • Proven ability to navigate hospital systems effectively, influence healthcare decision-makers, and foster referral growth.
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful healthcare sales experience, preferably in respiratory therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), long-term acute care (LTACH), or critical care environments.
  • Formal sales training and/or clinical background highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
