Join Our Team as a Temp Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift in Mattoon, IL!

We are seeking a dedicated Temp Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care and respiratory support during night shifts at our facility in Mattoon, IL. This vital role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient recovery while working within a supportive, professional team committed to excellence in care.
Proficiency in conducting therapeutic procedures, including adult endotracheal intubation (post-training competency)
Strong assessment skills to evaluate cardiopulmonary status
Ability to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment
Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in emergency or critical care settings
Certification in advanced airway management
Prior exposure to ICU or critical care units
Ability to serve as a resource and mentor to colleagues
Preferred Education and Experience:
Healthcare-related degree or diploma (as required for certification)
At least two years of critical care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Other Requirements:
Current licensure and certifications in accordance with state and federal regulations
Availability to work night shifts
Ability to obtain and maintain required training for critical procedures
Willingness to participate in in-service education and ongoing professional development as needed
