Required Skills:
Current Indiana State License in Respiratory Therapy
NBRC RRT Certification; BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
Certification in NRP (required for NICU/LD placements; can be obtained after offer)
Minimum of 2 years NICU/PICU experience, preferably within recent Children's Hospital settings
Proven L&D experience, with at least 2 years working in level 1 adult or pediatric facilities
Demonstrated proficiency in NICU or PICU patient care, including neuro diagnostic procedures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of respiratory and neuro diagnostics, clinical procedures, and equipment
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Neuro Diagnostic equipment and protocols
Cross-training in adult and pediatric critical care
familiarity with state and federal compliance standards related to licensure and certifications
Ability to float between PICU, Peds, and other acute care units as needed
Preferred Education and Experience:
Accredited educational program recognized by CoARC and CHEA
At least 2 years of recent NICU or PICU experience within a Children's Hospital setting
Prior experience working in private or hospital-based neonatal or pediatric units
Other Requirements:
Must provide written confirmation of comfort and awareness of every-other-weekend shift requirement
Certifications and licensure must be in hand prior to submission
Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
Start Date: April 20, 2026

Benefits include competitive hourly pay rate of $62.34, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick leave per applicable laws, and travel/reimbursement options as applicable
Flexibility to float between PICU and Peds acute care settings when necessary
Ability to adhere to facility-specific policies, including recent restrictions for IN RNs working at IU Health facilities (excluding perioperative and certain other roles)
