We are seeking a highly skilled RRT to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional respiratory and neuro diagnostics care in a fast-paced NICU environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized respiratory and neuro diagnostic support within NICU settings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with all regulatory standards and certifications.
  • Adapt to unit needs, including floating to PICU and Peds Acute Care as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid Indiana State License in Respiratory Therapy (RRT).
  • Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NBRC RRT credentials; PALS preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years recent NICU or PICU experience, with children’s hospital background preferred.
  • Proven experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care.
  • Strong knowledge of neuro diagnostics is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Commitment to safety, professionalism, and compassionate patient care.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in Level 1 adult facilities.
  • Knowledge of NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
  • Familiarity with floating requirements across units.
  • Additional certifications or specialized training in neonatal neuro diagnostics.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Accredited CoARC program in Respiratory Therapy and regional accreditation by CHEA.
  • At least 2 years of recent NICU or PICU experience within reputable children’s hospitals.

Other Requirements:
  • Successful prescreening with confirmation of comfort with every-other-weekend schedule.
  • Certifications and license in hand prior to submission.
  • Ability to work the night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
  • Flexibility to float across related units as needed.
