Are you a skilled Respiratory Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in pediatric care? Required Skills:
Valid Indiana State License (accepts Indiana temp license with application in process)
Certification in NRP (required for placements in L&D, obtained post-offer if necessary)
At least 2 years of PICU experience in a children's hospital within the last 3 years
Proven experience in L&D settings, with preference given to candidates with NICU or PICU background
Ability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on a 3x12-hour schedule with every other weekend commitment
Comfortable floating among NICU, PICU, and Peds units and occasionally to IU Health North Hospital
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in adult level 1 facilities
PALS certification
Previous experience with pediatric neuro diagnostics
Familiarity with hospital-based respiratory and neuro testing equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with adaptability to various units
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited CoARC and CHEA regionally accredited respiratory therapy program
Minimum of 2 years of pediatric hospital experience within the last 3 years
Prior experience in NICU or PICU settings is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
Ability to provide written confirmation of comfort with every other weekend work prior to submission
Willingness to float across NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed
Must have applied for and hold an Indiana license (including temporary license, if applicable)
No travel or additional reimbursements required beyond licensure and certification costs
Commitment to safety and adherence to all hospital protocols
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $62.34, along with competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, generous referral bonuses, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other eligible expenses.
