We are seeking a highly skilled RRT to provide exceptional respiratory and neuro diagnostic services in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience, with recent pediatric hospital exposure within the last 3 years.
Proven expertise in NICU or PICU patient care, with preference for experience in children's hospitals.
Valid Indiana State License (accepts IN temporary license if applied for both); NHRC RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (NRP required for specific assignments, such as L&D).
L&D experience is required as the primary assignment is in L&D.
Ability to float among NICU, PICU, and Peds units as needed, including potentially to IU Health North Hospital.
Strong understanding of pediatric respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures.
Nice to Have Skills:
PALS certification.
Experience with neuro diagnostics related to critical care.
Knowledge of hospital protocols for pediatric respiratory management.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Accredited CoARC and CHEA regionally accredited Respiratory Therapy education.
Past employment at children's hospitals within the last 3 years.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work the scheduled 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) on Fridays through Sundays, including every weekend requirement—confirmation of comfort and awareness of this schedule is mandatory prior to submission.
Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Must comply with all licensure, certification, and travel reimbursement policies.
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $62.34, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, and a robust referral bonus program.
