Join Our Team as an RRT-NICU Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist!
Are you a dedicated Respiratory Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic NICU environment? We are looking for a skilled RRT to provide exceptional respiratory and neuro diagnostic services, primarily in the NICU and PICU settings. What You Will Bring:
Valid Indiana State License in Respiratory Therapy
NBRC RRT Certification
ACLS, BLS certifications (NRP preferred; can be obtained after offer)
PALS certification (preferred)
Minimum of 2 years NICU or PICU experience, with recent Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years
L&D experience is a plus, especially for those working in labor and delivery units
Proven ability to float between PICU and Peds Acute Care units
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every other weekend required
Prescreening confirmation of comfort and awareness of the weekend schedule
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in adult level 1 trauma centers
Knowledge of neuro diagnostics procedures
Additional certifications in neuro or respiratory specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
Accredited degree from a CoARC and CHEA regionally accredited educational institution
Recent NICU/PICU experience within the past three years
Previous work at a children's hospital preferred
Other Requirements:
Must hold all certifications and licenses prior to submission
Ability to work rotating weekends and night shifts
Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification stipends available as applicable
Willingness to provide written confirmation of schedule availability
