Join Our Team as an RRT Pediatrics Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist

Are you a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist passionate about pediatric care and neuro diagnostics? We are seeking a dedicated RRT to provide exceptional respiratory and neurological diagnostic services within a vibrant pediatric hospital setting. This critical role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on young patients’ health outcomes while working alongside a committed, professional team.

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $62.34, with benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program. Our dedicated support team is available 24/7 to ensure your success and satisfaction throughout your assignment.

Required Skills:
  • Pediatric respiratory care experience
  • NICU or PICU experience with a minimum of 2 years' recent experience
  • Children's hospital experience within the last 3 years
  • Valid Indiana State License (accepts Indiana temporary license with application in process)
  • Certification in BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, and NRP (NRP required for L&D placements, obtainable after offer)
  • Strong proficiency in neuro diagnostics and respiratory therapies
  • Ability to float between PICU, NICU, and Peds units as needed
  • Flexibility to work 4x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) with every other weekend worked
  • Prescreening confirmation of availability for alternate weekend requirements

Nice to Have Skills:
  • PALS certification
  • Experience in adult level 1 facilities
  • Experience working in hospital environments with neuro diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of Indiana hospital policies for cross-unit support

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduation from an accredited CoARC and CHEA regionally accredited program
  • At least two years of recent pediatric NICU or PICU experience at a children's hospital
  • Previous experience in L&D units (preferred for specific placements)

Other Requirements:
  • Must provide written confirmation of understanding and agreement to every other weekend schedule
  • Willingness to float among NICU, PICU, Peds, and IU Health North Hospital
  • Knowledge of inpatient pediatric neuro and respiratory diagnostics
  • Ability to obtain or hold applicable Indiana licensure and certifications
  • Adaptability to work night shifts and handle a fast-paced pediatric environment
