Join Our Team as an RRT Pediatrics Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist
Are you a dedicated Respiratory Therapist passionate about pediatric and neuro diagnostics? We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RRT to provide exceptional care in a dynamic hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in pediatric respiratory and neuro diagnostics while working in a collaborative and supportive team setting. Required Skills:
Valid Indiana State License (including application for both temporary and full licenses)
NBRC RRT certification
ACLS and BLS certifications
NRP certification (required for L&D assignments or as determined by the client)
PALS preferred
Minimum 2 years PICU experience
Recent children’s hospital experience (within the last 3 years)
Proven experience in NICU or PICU settings
Ability to float across NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units as needed
Strong understanding of pediatric respiratory care and neuro diagnostics
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in L&D units
Experience in adult level 1 facilities
Familiarity with Indiana-specific healthcare regulations
Additional certifications in pediatric or neonatal care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduated from an accredited CoARC program or regionally accredited by CHEA
Experience in a children’s hospital or pediatric-focused facility
At least 2 years of PICU or NICU experience within the last 3 years
Other Requirements:
Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend
Prescreening confirmation of comfort with weekend requirements
Willingness to float among NICU, PICU, and Pediatric units, and to IU Health North Hospital (subject to policy updates)
Ability to provide written confirmation of experience and certification
