In this position, you will primarily serve in Level 1 Pediatric settings such as NICU and PICU, with responsibilities extending across L&D, Peds, and potentially other units. You will play a crucial role in conducting respiratory and neuro diagnostics, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced RRTs seeking to expand their expertise in pediatric and neonatal intensive care.
Required Skills:
Indiana State Licensure (or active application for licensure)
NRP certification (required for placements in L&D or as determined by the client)
PALS preferred
Minimum of 2 years PICU experience
Recent experience (within the last 3 years) in a Children's Hospital setting
L&D experience preferred and must be comfortable with every other weekend shifts
Flexibility to float among NICU, PICU, Peds, and potentially IU Health North Hospital
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with neuro diagnostics
Advanced airway management skills
Familiarity with pediatric neuro assessments
Previous work in Level 1 adult facilities (considered on a case-by-case basis)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited program by CoARC and recognized by CHEA
Prior pediatric, neonatal, or neuro diagnostics experience at a Children’s Hospital
Minimum 2 years PICU experience within the last 3 years
Other Requirements:
Must affirm comfort with every other weekend shift
Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
Willingness to float across NICU, PICU, Peds, and to IU Health North Hospital if needed
Valid Indiana temp or permanent license (must have applied for both)
Additional certifications or experience in neuro diagnostics are a plus
