Required Skills:
Valid RT or RCP license in the state of employment
BLS certification
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC
Proven experience (1-3 years preferred) in adult respiratory therapy
Skilled in airway management, ventilator setup, aerosolized drug delivery, and diagnostic procedures
Exceptional documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced practice procedures such as pulmonary function testing, waveforms analysis, and sleep studies
Capable of responding effectively to emergency codes and leading activities during shifts
Comfort with complex respiratory interventions and transport duties
Preferred Education and Experience:
Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist credentialed from an accredited program
1 to 3 years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting with adult patients
Other Requirements:
Night shift availability, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every other weekend commitment
Travel/registration reimbursements, certification support, and licensing assistance available when applicable
Immediate start date with potential transition to permanent position in the future
