Required Skills:
Valid and current state licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner or Therapist
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
Proven experience in respiratory therapy, including ventilator management, airway management, and patient assessment
Strong understanding of respiratory anatomy and physiology
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing patient needs
Nice to Have Skills:
Advanced certification in respiratory therapy or related specialization
Experience with pediatric and neonatal respiratory care
Knowledge of electronic medical records and healthcare software systems
Bilingual proficiency can be an asset
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related healthcare field
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory care settings, including hospitals or critical care units
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work a 24/7 shift schedule, including weekends and holidays
Willingness to participate in on-call duties as required
Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
Compliance with all regulatory, safety, and infection control protocols
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel if needed for specialized cases or training
