In this critical role, you will provide essential respiratory treatments, oxygen therapy, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support for patients across all ages—from neonatal to geriatric. Required Skills:
Current licensed Respiratory Therapist in applicable state
Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (if working in NICU)
Strong computer proficiency, including data entry, Windows applications, and keyboard skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform routine and advanced therapeutic procedures in accordance with established protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in neonatal intensive care units (NICU)
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
Prior experience with diagnostic procedures and patient education
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Minimum of one year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy or a relevant healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule
Willingness to comply with hospital policies and procedures
Additional certifications or training related to specialty areas are a plus
