Shift: Night Shift, 12-Hour
Hours/Week: 36 Hours (approx.)
Employment Type: Contract
Licenses/Certs: Active Respiratory Therapist license in LA; BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required
Experience: Prior experience preferred, new grads with proper certification are encouraged to apply

Pay Rate: $52.95/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide respiratory care treatments for patients of all ages, including neonates to geriatrics
Administer oxygen therapy and assist with ventilation support
Perform diagnostic testing including ABGs, EKGs, and monitor patient responses
Assist with airway management and airway changes
Educate patients and team members on procedures and treatment plans
Document clinical information and maintain accurate records
Follow established policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
What You Need
Current Respiratory Therapist license in Louisiana
Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS and PALS certifications preferred; NRP if working in NICU
Strong computer and data entry skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform and document complex procedures accurately
