What You Will Do:
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a rehab setting across multiple diagnoses.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and recovery processes.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of specialized rehab nursing experience.
Epic EMR experience is essential.
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5 efficiently.
Proficiency in night shift operations (18:30 - 07:00).
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Flexibility to float between departments as needed.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with stroke, spinal cord, brain injury, and general rehab patient care.
Prior experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Additional certifications such as ACLS or NIH Stroke Scale are a plus.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid RN license in applicable state(s).
At least 2 years’ experience in rehab nursing, preferably in a hospital or specialized rehab facility.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work weekend shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule.
Willingness to stay updated with licensure, certifications, and required trainings.
