What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients in a dynamic hospital environment
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to arrhythmias and other emergencies
Administer medications and perform wound management, including JP drains, wound vacs, and IV therapies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, therapists, and specialists
Support patient education and post-discharge planning for diverse patient populations
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR system
Adhere to safety standards and unit protocols, including response to patient needs during night shifts
What You Need
Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience (specialized training in telemetry preferred)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Ability to pass EKG competency assessment
Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills and experience with telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
