Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in acute care; tele/med-surg experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Pay Rate: $46.90/hour (additional shift differentials may apply)

What You'll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including those with sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, and PNA
Manage post-operative overflow patients, including total joint replacements, GI/abdominal surgeries, and more
Administer medications, wound care, and support pain management protocols
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, therapists, and support staff
Document patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
Float across various Med/Surg units as needed, maintaining flexibility and team support
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam before start
Experience with wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, dialysis catheter care, PCA, and pain management
Preferred:
Telemetry experience in a hospital setting
Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and float across multiple units
