Hourly Pay Rate: $50.25

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on cardiac and medical stepdown units
Manage complex patient conditions including respiratory failure, CVA, sepsis, post-surgical monitoring, and more
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and vasopressors following protocols
Chart patient progress and update medical records electronically (Meditech Expanse)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members including support staff and hospitalists
Adhere to safety and compliance standards including passing an EKG competency exam
Participate in orientation and ongoing unit activities
What You Need
Active Louisiana RN license or ability to obtain
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU RN experience in an acute care setting
Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (LVAD preferred for 2 West)
Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, IV management, and patient assessment
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Flexibility to work rotating weekends and major holidays
