License/Certifications: Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (preferred)
Experience: 1-2 years in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units; experience managing complex patients, titrating medications, and using EMR systems

What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with diverse conditions including respiratory failure, post-surgical recovery, sepsis, and cardiac events
Titrate cardiac and vasopressor infusions, and manage IV therapy
Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to changes
Ensure accurate documentation and effective communication within the team
Support patient safety through adherence to protocols and procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, RTs, and hospitalists
Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
What You Need:
Active RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS preferred
1-2 years of recent acute care experience
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
Strong clinical skills including IV management, patient monitoring, and emergency response
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
