Pay Rate: $50.25 per hour

What You’ll Do:
Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations in a PCU setting
Titrate cardiac and vasopressor drips, manage insulin and medication infusions
Manage advanced interventions such as central line care, chest tubes, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, and BiPAP
Collaborate with charge nurses, RT, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support with patient monitoring, documentation, and compliance with hospital protocols
Float to related units (Cardiac Stepdown or MedSurg) as needed, maintaining flexibility and professionalism
Adhere to unit policies including orientation and schedule requirements
What You Need:
Current valid RN license in Louisiana or willing to obtain
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
1-2 years of recent acute care RN experience (first-time travelers need 2+ years)
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
Strong clinical skills in cardiac care, IV management, and critical thinking
Flexibility to work weekends, major holidays, and every other weekend rotation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
