Join Our Team as an RN - ABH - Pennsylvania and Make a Difference in the Community
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to serve in an important role supporting individuals with Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (MH/IDD) in a community-based setting. This PRN position offers flexible hours, up to 20 hours per week, allowing you to balance your professional and personal goals while providing essential care to those in need. Your expertise will help foster recovery, independence, and well-being in the community, making a meaningful impact every single day.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Experience working with MH/IDD populations preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of person-centered care approaches
Basic documentation and charting skills
Ability to respond effectively in diverse scenarios
Nice to Have Skills:
Bilingual abilities
Experience with crisis intervention
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Certification in CPR/First Aid
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Prior experience in community mental health or related settings
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
Ability to travel within assigned community areas
Compliance with all applicable state, federal, and local regulations
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends if needed
Relevant licensure, certification, travel reimbursements, and other applicable expenses covered when applicable
