Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Telemetry and Make an Impact in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team. This vital role offers an opportunity to work in a brand new Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a growing facility that values professional development and compassionate care. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care for diverse patient populations, including those with sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, PNA, and post-op surgeries such as total joints and GI procedures. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including hospitalists, OT, PT, ST, and support staff, ensuring comprehensive patient management.
This position offers competitive hourly pay of $46.90, paid weekly via direct deposit, along with comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program. Our 24/7 dedicated team is committed to supporting your success throughout your contract.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
NIHSS certification
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Proficient in wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, catheter care, PCA, and pain management
Strong communication and patient care skills
Flexibility to float across units and adapt to various Med/Surg settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Meditech EMR
Knowledge of IV/VAT procedures, PICC placement, and hemodialysis catheter care
Previous telemetry or medical-surgical experience in a similar setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active RN license
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in acute care
Experience working in a telemetry or medical-surgical unit
Other Requirements:
Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Ability to work every other weekend, 2-3 holidays per year
Availability for 4-day and 3-day workweeks in alternating weeks
Up to 7 days of paid time off; requests must be planned accordingly
Scrub color: Pewter; attire compliance required
No on-call responsibilities
