Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and make a meaningful impact on patient care. Required Skills:
Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care settings
Proficiency in wound management, JP drains, wound vacs, hemodialysis catheter care, fistulas, PCA, and pain management
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float across Med/Surg units as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
Knowledge of IV/VAT procedures, PICC placement
Past experience in Post-Op overflow cases including Total Joints and GI surgeries
Bilingual capabilities to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active nursing license with state requirements
At least 2 years of recent, consistent experience as an RN in an acute care environment
Experience working with patients with conditions such as sepsis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, and PNA
Other Requirements:
Must hold and maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to work every other weekend and 2-3 holidays per year
Willingness to work 4-day or 3-day workweeks with scheduled weekend rotation
Up to 7 days of approved time off; requests exceeding this will not be accommodated
No on-call responsibilities; responsible for working scheduled shifts
Scrub color: Pewter; uniforms must meet dress code standards
