Required Skills:
Valid RN license with current state licensure
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI or MOAB, NIHSS
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to assignment
Strong critical thinking, IV skills, medication administration, and dosage calculation
Self-motivated with good time management and clinical judgment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system
Knowledge of hospitalist and multidisciplinary team protocols
Previous exposure to diverse patient populations including neonatal to geriatric
Psych, mental health, IV drug abuse, or alcohol withdrawal experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing degree ( ADN or BSN)
At least 2 years of permanent staffing experience in acute care
First-time travelers considered with at least 2 years of permanent acute care RN experience
Separation from previous employment for at least 1 year if returning as a traveler
Other Requirements:
Ability to work flexible shifts starting between 7 AM and 1 PM
Participation in every other weekend rotation
Up to 7 days of time off with proper scheduling, no more than 7 days RTO
Work during 2-3 holidays per contract
No call responsibilities
Scrub color: Pewter; attire includes gray, white, or black T-shirts with WK monogram, and gray or black jackets
Fully badge visible at all times
Parking available in designated areas
Position Details:
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
Start Date: 03/09/2026
Orientation: 2 days general hospital, 2 days on the unit (including at least one day during dayshift)
8-week scheduling cycle, working 3 or 4 days per week, with rotations including 2/2 or 5/2 schedules
No on-call duties
Will work 2 out of every 3 holidays
