Join our team as a dedicated Medical Surgical/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse and make a meaningful impact in patient care. Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of medical-surgical or telemetry experience
Current New York State Registered Nurse license
BLS certification
NIH Stroke Certification
Epic electronic health record experience
Travel experience preferred
Ability to handle critical drips and CVA cases
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Flexibility to work in various hospital units, including ER for hold patients
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with stroke or cerebrovascular events
Prior float pool or per diem nursing experience
Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and workflows
familiarity with additional EHR systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
At least 3 years of acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Commitment to a minimum of 2 shifts per month
Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Must be locally available for per diem shifts, with county restrictions lifted for this role
Must maintain all required certifications and licensure
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $50.25 and benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly direct deposit payments, comprehensive medical benefits, a robust referral bonus program, paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other expenses when applicable.
