Join Our Team as a Travel Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) – Make a Difference in High-Stakes Environments!

Are you an experienced ICU nurse ready to elevate your career? We are seeking dedicated and skilled Travel RN - Critical Care professionals to provide top-quality patient care in dynamic, fast-paced settings. This is your opportunity to travel, develop your expertise, and impact lives profoundly across diverse critical care units.

What You’ll Bring:
  • Several years of ICU experience, with a strong background handling complex cases such as DKA, STEMIs, Stroke, ARDS, MODS, CHF and COPD exacerbations, GI bleeds, renal failure (CRRT/SLED), liver failure, IABP, and Impellas.
  • Proficiency in clinical judgment, collaborative care, and advocacy.
  • Familiarity with Epic electronic health records, Pyxis medication systems, and Excel for scheduling.
  • Ability to work independently, providing routine and complex care while managing contingencies effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care comprehensively.

Required Skills:
  • Current RN license in Texas or a compact state.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • NIHSS and ACLS certifications.
  • Minimum of 1 year ICU experience, preferably in critical care settings.
  • Ability to attend New Nurse Orientation within 30 days of hire and complete competency validations.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
  • Experience with clinical systems such as EPIC.
  • Knowledge of scheduling tools and electronic documentation.
  • Experience with diverse patient populations and complex care protocols.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • At least one year of high-acuity ICU experience.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing critically ill patients in specialized settings.

Other Requirements:
  • Scheduled shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including night shifts.
  • Travel opportunity with an hourly pay rate of $50.25.
  • Must meet all annual competency and organizational onboarding requirements.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and demonstrate professionalism in demanding situations.
