What You’ll Do:
As a Travel ER RN, you will deliver high-quality, independent nursing care in fast-paced emergency settings. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, demonstrating professionalism and clinical competence. Your role involves managing complex cases, providing patient education, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across various locations. Flexibility in floating between emergency departments and inpatient units ensures a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Required Skills:
Active RN license in Texas or a compact state
Minimum 1 year of ER or relevant emergency care experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, all from AHA
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in multiple healthcare environments or facilities
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not mandatory
At least 1 year of experience specifically within emergency nursing or critical care settings
Other Requirements:
Availability for night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for a full-time 12-hour shift
Willingness to float between emergency and inpatient units (IMC/ICU) based on volume and experience
Ability to adapt to different clinical settings efficiently
Pay Rate: $50.25 per hour
