Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care independently, incorporating assessments, diagnoses, planning, interventions, and evaluations in accordance with ANA standards.
Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
Administer medications and treatments per protocol, closely monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
Document patient histories, symptoms, medication administration, and care provided accurately.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
Demonstrate leadership qualities within your team, effectively delegating tasks as appropriate and contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Texas or a Compact State.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
At least 1 year of recent relevant nursing experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse patient needs.
Nice to Have Skills:
ACLS certification.
Experience in telemetry, med/surg, or IMC settings.
Previous travel nursing experience.
Additional language skills or cultural competence.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience in a similar clinical setting.
Other Requirements:
Start Date: December 8, 2025.
Work Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with every other weekend requirement.
No mandatory call; on-call is limited to low census periods approximately once every two weeks.
Travel compensation at $50.25/hour.
Completion of organizational orientation within 30 days of hire, including Med/Surg competencies.
Current ACLS certification is required.
