Temp - RN - ICU (Nights) Pontiac, MI
Elevate your nursing career by joining our team as a Temp - RN in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) during night shifts. This vital role offers the opportunity to deliver expert care to critically ill patients across a diverse range of diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac, and neurosurgical cases. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, coordinate, and deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric.
Monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring adherence to medical protocols and standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise and support CNA/SNA, LPN, and other healthcare staff as assigned.
Maintain professional nursing standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Required Skills:
Valid and current RN license in Michigan.
Proven experience in ICU or critical care settings.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in Step-down or Intermediate Intensive Care Units.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in ICU or critical care.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work night shifts as scheduled, starting March 16, 2026.
Willingness to comply with facility-specific policies and procedures.
Travel or licensing reimbursements when applicable.
