We are seeking passionate ICU/PCU Hybrid RNs to join our team at a renowned hospital in Olathe, KS. What You Bring to the Table:
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care or Intensive Care Units
Proficiency with balloon pumps, CRRT, Impella, open-heart procedures, and vascular access
Ability to draw labs independently, conduct codes confidently, and manage complex patient needs
Kansas RN license or Compact license, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills
Flexibility to float across various inpatient units including PCU, CCU, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and ED
Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) and every other weekend
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience with NICU, pediatric or medical-surgical units
Advanced certifications in critical care or specialized procedures
Experience in a hospital environment requiring rapid adaptation and multitasking
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
At least 2 years of recent ICU/PCU experience, with familiarity in critical care procedures and equipment
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidence
Additional Requirements:
Floating to multiple inpatient units as needed
Participation in orientation sessions including virtual Epic training
Availability to work during the upcoming World Cup period (June 11 - July 19); limited time off preferred
Must adhere to hospital policies, including nicotine-free environment and compliance with all safety protocols
