Registered Nurse – Critical Care ICU – Olathe, KS

Shift: 12-hour days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3 shifts/week)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience; experience with CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, Chest Tubes, PICC; comfortable with codes and call on own consults
Floating Requirements: Will be expected to float across ICU, med/surg, tele, and ED units
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Based on unit needs; July 4th expected
On-Call: None

What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, including managing ventilators, CRRT, and other complex therapies
Conduct procedures such as drawing labs, managing chest tubes, and PICC line insertions
Respond to emergencies and conduct codes confidently
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic medical record
Float to various inpatient units as needed, maintaining flexibility and proficiency
Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols at all times
What You Need
Required:
Kansas RN license or Compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHF certifications
At least 2 years recent ICU experience, with specific skills in CRRT, Bipaps, labs, Chest Tubes, and PICC
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with EPIC EMR system
Ability to work independently and handle high-acuity patients
