Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year recent Telemetry experience, with solid knowledge of cardiac protocols
Proficient in handling Cardiac Drips such as Heparin, Tikosyn, Sotalol, Lasix, and Cardizem
Experience with TR Band’s straight after procedures
Ability to monitor and initiate cardiac arrhythmia management effectively
Strong critical thinking and excellent communication skills
Certified in BLS and ACLS
Comfortable working nights and adaptable to floating across units as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
2-5 years of Telemetry experience
Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiarity with TUKHS nicotine-free facility protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active Kansas RN license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not mandatory
Recent and relevant telemetry nursing experience
Other Requirements:
Work hours: 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Assignment start date: September 14, 2025, with initial orientation on September 15 or 22
Assignment duration: 13 weeks, with flexible scheduling options
Must be vaccinated and adhere to facility policies
Willingness to float across acute care units as needed
This opportunity offers an hourly pay rate of $83.50 before administrative fees, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
