Job Description
Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

We seek a highly qualified professional ready to provide top-tier obstetric and gynecologic services, supporting patients through all stages of care.
Required Skills:
Valid active Michigan medical license (no IMLC accepted)
Board Certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Ability to respond to hospital calls within 10 minutes
Experience managing obstetric cases, including labor and delivery
Strong clinical judgment and emergency response skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team setting
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience supervising residents or medical students
Certification or training in ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS, ABLC (not mandatory but encouraged)
Completion of a conscious sedation module (for privileges in sedation administration)
Familiarity with hospital protocols for stroke and emergency care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology practice experience
Prior experience in a hospital setting with high delivery volumes (approximately 370-380 deliveries annually)
Other Requirements:
Availability for 24-hour call coverage, including weekends and holidays
Commitment to arriving within 30 minutes for emergency situations
Willingness to supervise residents and medical students
Participation in hospital policies related to trauma and stroke care
Position Details:
Start Date: May 28, 2026
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
Duration: Ongoing assignments from June 1, 2026, with initial orientation on May 28, 2026
