We are seeking a highly motivated RN to provide exceptional care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. In this vital position, you will deliver specialized nursing care to neonatal patients, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and utilize your clinical skills to support vulnerable infants and their families. Required Skills:
  • Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
  • BLS or ARC-BLS certification (current or willing to obtain)
  • NRP or ARC-NALS certification (current or willing to obtain)
  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in clinical technology tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Capable of functioning efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to practice evidence-based nursing
  • Effective time management skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in neonatal or pediatric nursing
  • Prior experience working in an ICU or NICU setting
  • Additional certifications in neonatal or pediatric care

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Less than one year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • Completion of accredited nursing program with requisite clinical hours

Other Requirements:
  • Night Shift: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am
  • Willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not currently held
  • Must be prepared for the contract start date after 01/31/2025
  • Ability to work the scheduled shift consistently

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $46.90, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), and a robust referral bonus program. Additional benefits include paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws, licensure and certification reimbursements, as well as travel stipends when applicable.
