Join Our Team as an RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center

Required Skills:
Valid RN license in either a single-state or multi-state (compact) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Adept at utilizing technology to support clinical decision-making
Capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced environment and responding decisively to emergencies
Strong time management and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in pediatric or critical care settings
Prior exposure to Epic electronic medical records system
Bilingual abilities for enhanced patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting
Completion of an accredited nursing program with required clinical hours
Other Requirements:
Night shift availability from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Willingness to obtain additional certifications if not already held
Contract start date: 01/26/2026, with an initial 8-week assignment
Certifications not currently in hand must be noted, with willingness to obtain upon hire
RTO request limit of 3 days; block scheduling not offered
Certification requirements include RN licensure (single state or multi-state), BLS, and PALS (or equivalent within 180 days)
No travel required, but documentation for licensure, certifications, and reimbursements will be provided
