Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients with professionalism and empathy
Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and execute life-saving interventions
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols
Respond swiftly and decisively to emergencies, demonstrating strong critical thinking skills
Required Skills:
Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (single-state or multi-state compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong clinical skills with experience in direct patient care in an ICU setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Proficient in utilizing healthcare technology and competent with basic computer skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing time effectively and responding calmly under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Trauma Nursing certification
Experience with electronic medical records systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to obtain required certifications if not already held
Night shift availability, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment
Must meet all hospital-specific credentialing and compliance standards
This role offers an hourly pay rate of $46.90, with weekly pay through direct deposit.
