What You Will Do:
As an ICU RN, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, utilizing your clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate approach. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, respond swiftly to emergencies, and ensure the safety and comfort of your patients. Your role is vital in supporting recovery and improving patient outcomes in a renowned medical center.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or willing to obtain within 180 days
Minimum of Associates Degree or Nursing Diploma; Bachelors Degree preferred
Proven experience in direct patient care, preferably in an ICU setting
Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Proficient in utilizing technology to support clinical workflows
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and customer service skills
Ability to stay composed and responsive in high-pressure situations
Exceptional time management and critical thinking abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
Additional certifications such as PALS or NIH Stroke Scale
Prior experience in fast-paced or trauma units
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher
Experience working in ICU environments or critical care units
Other Requirements:
Night shift availability: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Ability to obtain any necessary certifications if not already in hand
Willingness to work in a demanding and fast-paced ICU setting
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
