Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Pediatric Intensive Care RNs at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center
Join a dedicated, highly specialized team committed to providing exceptional care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in the region’s only community-based PICU. As an RN on our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering advanced patient care in a collaborative environment that harnesses cutting-edge technology and expert teamwork.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven ability to provide expert nursing care in a PICU setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities in high-pressure scenarios
Proficiency with clinical technology and electronic health records
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic electronic health record systems
Additional pediatric emergency or critical care certifications
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education & Experience:
Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Less than 1 year of direct PICU nursing experience
Completion of accredited nursing program with required clinical hours
Other Requirements:
Current RN licensure in your state or multi-state compact license
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Night shift availability from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise specified
Willingness to obtain additional certifications if needed during employment
