What You'll Do:
Provide high-quality, individualized patient care in diverse clinical settings across the hospital.
Utilize evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Partner effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, fostering a patient-centered approach.
Support performance improvement initiatives and contribute to a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
Serve as a preceptor or mentor, promoting a healthy, professional workforce.
Required Skills:
Current RN license valid in Georgia (or multi-state compact license).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively during emergencies.
Proficient with clinical technology and documentation systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in critical care, ER, or ICU settings.
Previous float pool or agency nurse experience.
Additional certifications such as TNCC, PALS, or relevant specialty qualifications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
Less than one year of clinical experience with completed requisite clinical hours.
Prior exposure to diverse healthcare settings.
Other Requirements:
Availability for night shifts (7:45 PM – 6:15 AM) with every other weekend work.
Willingness to work holidays as needed.
Certification in NIHSS, ACLS, BLS, and other relevant specialties.
Flexibility across various departments as assigned, with orientation hours non-billable.
