Required Skills:
Valid RN license in good standing
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
Ability to work night shifts with 12-hour schedules
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with floating to different units as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
BSN degree
Previous experience in a nicotine-free facility
Additional certifications related to telemetry or specialized patient populations
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to work every other weekend and major holidays
Ability to adhere to all safety and compliance protocols
Flexibility to float to different units as required
Reliable transportation for shifts and potential travel reimbursements
This position requires working in a nicotine-free facility, maintaining a professional and drug-free environment
