Required Skills
Minimum of 3+ years of ER experience, with 5+ years preferred
Valid Kansas or compact state RN license
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
Strong critical thinking and clinical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced emergency setting
Nice to Have Skills
Experience in large hospital facilities or high-volume ERs
Previous experience floating between departments
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Additional certifications or specialized training in emergency medicine
Preferred Education and Experience
Active RN license in Kansas or a compact state
5+ years of dedicated ER nursing experience in a large facility setting
Proven track record of handling complex emergency cases with confidence
Other Requirements
Ability to work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week
Must be willing to be on-call once a week and as needed for weekends and holidays
Must pass orientation scheduled on Mondays before starting
Willingness to float rarely and adapt to schedule demands
