What You Will Do:
Provide immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Handle a fast-paced environment with professionalism and compassion.
Required Skills:
Active Kansas or Compact Registered Nursing License.
Minimum of 2+ years recent ER experience.
Valid BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
Additional certifications such as ENPC or POCUS.
Experience in travel nursing or working in diverse healthcare settings.
Bilingual capabilities to assist a diverse patient population.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
5+ years of nursing experience, including recent ER exposure.
Prior travel nursing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Other Requirements:
Availability for 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Every other weekend work required.
On-call responsibilities: One 12-hour shift per week.
Holiday shifts as needed to ensure continuous coverage.
No floating between departments required.
Ability to start immediately, with scheduled start date of September 21, 2025.
